in 2008!
The Art in Public Places exhibition is an annual event that
consists of a
three month installation of large-scale sculptures throughout Downtown
Knoxville.

Art in Public Places Knoxville (APPK) announces a call for entries for it's 2008 sculpture exhibition. APPK is aprogram on the Dogwood Arts Festival in partnership with the City of Knoxville. The 2008 call for entries welcomes
applications from new and previously exhibiting artist. The noted sculptor Wayne Trapp is the curator of the 2008 exhibition. The exhibition will feature approximately fifteen (15) large to monumental sculptures. The selected sculptures will be places in downtown Knoxville in the Krutch Park and Krutch Park extension. The installation will be in place from April to July, 2008.
Selected artists will receive an honorarium of $1,000.00 per sculpture
for participating in this exhibition. $500.00 upon delivery to the site and
$500.00 upon removal. For additional information regarding this please
